Iron Man

I didn't know if we were suppose to make a new post or not...so now this is in 2 places.

I went to see Iron Man 3 and I'm glad to say that I found it very enjoyable.  The movie was very well done; it had great visuals and an interesting story.  Every movie uses storyboarding, however when it is a live action movie the storyboards are usually a bit less descriptive on movements in order to give the actors more freedom, but there is a the final major action sequence that is mostly made up of several suits flying around a fighting.  I believe that the final fight scene had to be the most heavily storyboarded part of the movie because of the number of digitally animated characters involved.  Also, while sitting through the credits, I noticed how massive the movie's animation team was, it was quite impressive.

Iron Man boredom

I personally didn't enjoy the movie to much, there were certain parts I liked but for the most I was bored. There was a lot of 3d animation especially with Iron Man himself and all of the suits. 3d animation is my field of study and this movie had a lot of it. I paid attention to those scenes the most and that is where I was entertained the most.

Iron Man 3

While being captivating and very entertaining, I would like to talk about the end credits and how the were presented. I found it interesting how they represented all 3 movies in the end credits, quickly retelling aspects of the story and using unique panel breaks to keep the audience captivated. It fools the audience into thinking their still watching the movie instead of credits.

matt terry...iron man 3 w/ GUY PEARCE

iron man 3 was awesome and it pertains to my major because, from a concept art stand point, it gave me lots of boners, cause i love that shit.  the iron man suits were designed very well, lots of variation abound, i was really disappointed that the shitty mark 42 design had so much screen time cause the rest of the suits were way cooler.  But by far, the most impressive character design had to go to guy pearce, and the fact that he made the mullet cool again.  He still had his usual "I'm awesome and your not" smug ass smile on the whole time, vast sense of superiority, but the mullet....this was something new, something i did not think any man would dare touch, especially in such a powerful position.  But my god, it was business in the front and sinister world domination business in the back.  It was a valuable lesson in redefining visual characterization, as i had only ever adorned the mullet on a character to create humor and a lower social class and ignorance.  And yet here, in iron man 3 of all places, the mullet was redefined to a hair style of power and dominance, and in my opinion, successfully.  Please forgive all spelling and grammar issues, I'm a silly head

James, The man of the iron 3

I watched iron man 3 on Sunday and it was a pretty good movie. I enjoyed how tony stark had emotion break downs but in a way that suited his character. I liked the new designs for the iron man suite and my favorite part of the entire movie was when he different versions of iron man showed up the little kid was cool too. I like the variety of the character designs while sticking to he basic structure of the suit.I have a drawing and a movie ticket but my computer is acting up so I will post them later tonight since its irritating me right now and I'm about to throw my phone. Also working from another location tonight Mr. Ellis. P.s war machine is a better name then iron patriot.

Castro, Iron Man THREE

Iron Man 3 (aka Iron Man Three) was an enjoyable movie to mw, despite the random Mandarin twist. My focus in animation relates to this movie in different ways. Special effects and computer animation come into play for the most part in the action sequences to the transformation of Tony Stark's suit, creating an interesting atmosphere of how technology operates as a robotic but living suit with the weight and dynamic action; but the parts that I spotted which relates to my focus was the opening and ending credits had some 2D animation involved, making it appear like a motion graphic picture.

So here's a fun/poor/drafty/short animation from my brief favorite scene starring Pepper Potts:
