iron man 3 was awesome and it pertains to my major because, from a concept art stand point, it gave me lots of boners, cause i love that shit. the iron man suits were designed very well, lots of variation abound, i was really disappointed that the shitty mark 42 design had so much screen time cause the rest of the suits were way cooler. But by far, the most impressive character design had to go to guy pearce, and the fact that he made the mullet cool again. He still had his usual "I'm awesome and your not" smug ass smile on the whole time, vast sense of superiority, but the mullet....this was something new, something i did not think any man would dare touch, especially in such a powerful position. But my god, it was business in the front and sinister world domination business in the back. It was a valuable lesson in redefining visual characterization, as i had only ever adorned the mullet on a character to create humor and a lower social class and ignorance. And yet here, in iron man 3 of all places, the mullet was redefined to a hair style of power and dominance, and in my opinion, successfully.
