Artist Statement
I
have, for a long time, been searching for some form of direction in my life.
Whether it was going to Prince George's Community College to expand my
education or joining the United States Navy to truly discover what I was
capable of. I wanted something more for myself and for those that I cherish and
hold dear. Throughout the search of my potential there was one constant skill
being used....... drawing.
I
decided to pursue Motion Graphics and Special Effects because I wanted to take
my drawing abilities and creativity to the next level. I plan on using my new
found skills to work for news stations and to also push my own original works
to the public to make my mark in the world.

Iron Man 3 was a movie slopping over with amazing visuals and awesome special effects. Although it was a revisit from the previous movies, one of my favorite parts is still when Tony Stark uses his 3-D holograms to remake the crime scene. It's a great demonstration of utilizing 3-D pre-composed frames and positioning them in a way where it looks like Stark is completely immersed in the hologram. The same method was also used when the main villan showed his brain in a real time hologram. I hope to one day be able to recreate this kind of special effect in my own projects to come up with some amazing pieces and ideas that I can really be proud of.
